In the past year, Senator Lindsey Graham has been hard at work for the president, fellow Republicans, South Carolinians and Americans as a whole.
Despite the numerous challenges of 2020, Senator Graham proved that he does not back down in the face of adversity. He was quick to “defend the police” when leftists wanted to “defund the police.” He supported President Trump as Democrats continually tried to tear him down. And he worked hard with leaders on both sides of the aisle to help make America even greater.
Here are three of Lindsey Graham’s biggest accomplishments from the past year:
Senator Graham has been an outspoken critic of communist China, as the country has been a detriment to the U.S. for a long time. To make things worse, the coronavirus originated from Wuhan, China and became a global pandemic this year. Senator Graham immediately developed a list of demands for China to follow after their ineffective reaction to the spread of coronavirus.
“So, to the Democratic Party, join me and President Trump and all Republicans to send a signal to China: Business as usual is over until you change your behavior,” Graham had said.
Senator Graham also called for the release of jailed protesters in Hong Kong. They had been holding large scale protests calling for democracy and more free speech, in defiance of the Chinese communist regime.
From the very beginning, the left has been at President Trump’s throat, trying to tear him down and take control of Washington. The discredited Steele Dossier is maybe the most infamous example of their failed accusations.
Lindsey Graham worked to declassify documents that exposed the Steele Dossier for the questionable information it contained, which was used as a justification for FISA warrants and the opening of an investigation into the 2016 election.
“I believe that the dossier, which was the key component of getting the warrant against Carter Page, was in fact Russian disinformation,” Senator Graham said. He added “that the FBI was on notice that it was unreliable, continued to use it anyway. I believe that they misled the FISA court.”
Now, thanks to Senator Graham, Americans have seen the truth behind the Deep State’s shady intel, and their opening up of an FBI investigation into the Trump campaign.
As chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Lindsey Graham was a leader in confirming the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s replacement in the Supreme Court.
Senator Graham supported Amy Coney Barrett from the beginning, vowing to confirm her as a Supreme Court justice before the Nov. 3 election. And he delivered.
Despite resistance and outright attacks from the left on Barrett’s qualifications, Senator Graham proved through Senate hearings that she was experienced, extremely qualified and unbiased. His leadership eventually helped confirm Justice Barrett, and it secured a conservative majority in the Supreme Court.
Now after his reelection, Senator Graham will have six more years to lead South Carolina and fight for conservative values in Washington.
