Lindsey Graham: ‘A Lot’s at Stake’ in Georgia’s Senate Runoff Elections

Senator Lindsey Graham recently spoke with Trey Gowdy about the potential danger if Democrats win the two seats in Georgia’s Senate runoff elections.

If Republicans succeed in one of the races and maintain a Senate majority, Senator Graham will be chairman of the Senate Budget Committee beginning in 2021. In contrast, if Democrats win both seats, Senator Bernie Sanders will be chairman.

“I may not be your cup of tea out there,” Graham said. “But let me tell you this, I’m a hell of a lot better than Bernie Sanders when it comes to your money.”

In addition, Senator Graham warned that a Democratic majority would create a “trifecta from hell” in important positions of power. The trifecta would be made up of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

“It’s the end of checks and balances,” Graham said. “It would fundamentally change the country as we know it. The fate of the Republic really lies in the hands of our friends in Georgia… I’m worried as we speak tonight.”

“I just don’t believe the people in Georgia are going to allow this country to be turned into a socialist nation,” he added. “That’s really what’s on the ballot for these Senate seats.”

Lindsey Graham is once again proving that he is willing to fight against radical socialism. He has already donated millions of dollars to Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, to help keep conservative leadership in Washington.
