The U.S. Senate confirmed new Supreme Court justice Amy Coney Barrett this week, in part due to the hard work of Lindsey Graham.

As chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, it was Senator Graham’s responsibility to lead the confirmation of Barrett after she was nominated by President Trump, and Graham delivered.

When Barrett was under attack from the left for her Catholic faith and originalist judicial beliefs, Senator Graham was quick to defend her. He proudly showed the American people why she was qualified for the Supreme Court.

“…I’ll do everything I can to make sure that you have a seat at the table, and that table is the Supreme Court,” Graham said to Barrett during her hearing. “If anybody in the country, in my view, deserves to have a seat at the table – based on the way they’ve lived their life and their capabilities in the law – it is you, Judge. God bless you.”

Through Graham’s leadership in the Senate’s confirmation hearings, it was made clear that now-Justice Barrett will be an outstanding addition to the Supreme Court and her confirmation is a victory for all Americans.

Lindsey Graham has once again proved that he is a leader who gets things done and will fight for what is right – and he is not done yet.
