After winning re-election in South Carolina, Senator Lindsey Graham announced that he would be backing President Trump’s legal battles in key states.
Senator Graham stated in a Facebook post that he would be donating $500,000 to the President’s legal defense fund.
“Let’s stand with President Trump. He stood for us,” Graham added.
President Trump had announced that his administration would file lawsuits in some key battleground states where Joe Biden pulled ahead. A judge in Pennsylvania recently ruled in favor of the Trump administration, saying that some ballots without voter information needed to be set aside and not yet counted.
Although Joe Biden declared victory on Saturday, TIME reported that President Trump “seemed poised to continue to fight in court.”
Despite the outcome of the 2020 election, Senator Lindsey Graham has shown that he is willing to continue the fight for conservative leadership.
